About this course
Basic Islamic Studies gives students a confident, well-rounded understanding of their deen. It is the perfect starting point for children, new Muslims and anyone who wants to refresh the fundamentals.
Lessons are interactive and practical: we don't just explain the Five Pillars — we practise wudu, Salah and duas together until the student can do them independently.

Who Allah is, the purpose of life, the role of the Prophets, and the daily practices of a Muslim.
Five Pillars of Islam
Shahadah, Salah, Zakat, Sawm and Hajj — their meaning, rulings and how to perform them.
Basic Islamic knowledge
Islamic months and festivals, halal and haram basics, the Quran and Sunnah as sources, and key Islamic terms.
