About this course

Allah invites us to reflect: "Do they not reflect upon the Quran?" (4:82). Our Tafseer course helps you understand the words you recite every day in Salah, drawing on classical explanations such as Ibn Kathir and As-Sa'di, explained in clear modern English.

Do I need to know Arabic for Tafseer?

No. Classes are in English, with Arabic key words explained as you go.

Which Tafseer books do you use?

We rely on classical, mainstream works such as Tafsir Ibn Kathir and Tafsir As-Sa'di, simplified for each student's level.
