About this course
Tajweed is the science of reciting the Quran exactly as it was revealed — every letter from its correct point of articulation, with its proper characteristics, lengths and pauses. Tarteel is the calm, measured recitation Allah commands in Surah Al-Muzzammil: "and recite the Quran with measured recitation" (73:4).
Our course takes complete beginners from the very first letter of the Noorani Qaida all the way to reading the Mushaf fluently with Tajweed. Students who can already read join at their own level after a short assessment in the free trial class.
